Hagen Schulz won the prize for the best dugout. It is really amazing and inspiring! His Skaven made 5 CAS and with 4 players left on the field my Woodies had no chances.
Over 400KB !!
Goblins! 3CAS in the first 3 turns against these green guys - but no problem with 15 players. 1:0 in turn 3. And the Gays couldn’t stop a perfect Throw-Team-Mate for the 1:1. The wardancer failed twice, to make the next TD in the first half. Because of a Blitz the Gays could get the ball for a 2:1. And again the Goblins failed to save the ball. 3:1 against the “Grunt Goldarschs Grünes Gesindel”.
The toughest game was against the “Dying Ronin”. A quick TD in turn 2 and again a Blitz for the Gays provides a 2:0 lead after turn 4! The next 12 turns were the hardest for the Woodies. But they were sucessfull, the Orcs made “only” 4 CAS and couldn’t score. Very nice game.
The tightest game was against Geoff’s Necromantics “Von Erichs” from UK. The first half ended 1:1. And with a little luck the Gays had the chance to win, but the dices didn’t want this and in the last turn Geoff made the winning point! My second famous game at this tournament.
And again a Goblin team. Gregor’s ”Da Weerdoez” played a great game, the KO box was filled with Woodies, especially the Trolls made good blocks. But the little guys couldn’t manage the ball and therefore a 2:0 win for the Gays.
Pablo’s “Asgard’s Chose” were the unluckiest team in Cologne. As he declared before, his Norse had a lot of problems with GFI. But also with Pickup or catching the ball. On the opposite the Gays had 2 phantastic elvish actions and managed a 3:1. But nevertheless Pablo keeps his Sportsmanship!
